@micah_eth Built this account for months. Put a ton of blood and sweat into making a product and engaging with the community. Got rejected because cookies are stupid apparently lol
Token holders that care about the economic security of the apps they are stakeholders to should not be punished for doing the right thing. Putting voting powers and ROI of tokens at odds with each other serves nobody. Rooting for @tallyxyz team, @DennisonBertram and @rafaelsolari
When it comes to memes I want new and shiny. Most of the ones from this cycle went up so hard and so fast that they have so many bag holders and most will probably never make new highs or take a really long time to recover
I’d rather take my chances with something new consolidating below a couple mil mc or something like that
lol @KengLernitas was rejected for @Optimism RPGF round: “project exists only to sell a token” what in the actual fuck, I spent over $200k and burned my tokens to test 4844 blob costs. Only thing I can say about this is at least we know governance is not playing favourites 🤷♂️.
Probably the best thing about CT is that the best traders are sharing their market view in real time.
This was never possible in the pre-internet era and I for one welcome any and all takes. The wisdom derived by markets is the collective view of their participants and how they express such views.
I've posted takes previously that have triggered both bulls and bears. Instead of throwing shades be thankful the best are sharing their views with you for free.
Since the fund is closed ended we found this is the best way to minimise liquid risk but simultaneously provide liquid exposure to closed-ended LPs.
During raising we said having zero liquid exposure this cycle is an absolute mistake but needs to be structure in a certain way.
The primary way Arete Capital executes on the liquid side is via discounted OTC directly w/ a team. We do this for two reasons:
- Discounts provide a buffer to potential market volatility.
- We are long only w/ 6-18 month time preference for investment realisation.
We buy what we think is good long-term value with a long time preference. In general the liquid book has low turnover. We also do execute directly on the liquid market if we think the price is right and discounts are not needed.
