{ B.L.U.E โ Bountifully Linted User Entity. }
{ BH!Abel, known as Blue (due to not ever accepting or recieving the name of Abel), is a variation of WDIF!Blue (Or more recently renamed Calyx โ See @Blue_WDIF ) }
{ BH โ Beyond Hope. }
{ Another sigh escapes him, fully falling back on the grass. He gets to experience such lovely things... }
{ ...While the others are still kept in the tent. }
{ He can't help but close his eyes, letting his mind shut off for a bit. }
{ He's the only one who knows. }
{ Kinger is the only ones who knows what happened before B.L.U.E overtook the circus. He holds that memory close, forcing himself upon lucidity even when a light brighter than Queenie faces him. }
{ Because that's how he should feel. }
+
Blue hadn't responded immediately. In fact, they seemed almost like they couldn't say. Until Kinger pointed at his head with his eyes looking like a sad smile.
Only then did Blue respond. }
{ Kinger would never forget that answer. }
{ He couldn't, anymore. }
+
{ "..."
It'd been quiet for a bit.
They'd moved to his pillow fort, more likely than not because Blue'd wanted Kinger lucid. He's sorry he didn't do anything sooner.
"......"
Their tail had flicked unsteadily, clawed hands gripping the pillows beneath them. +
"What did you agree to?" }
{ The other side of the circus is no longer bright with the Sun. Only darkness. Maybe B.L.U.E did that for Kinger, for its Bug Fixer. Or maybe it just liked the darkness. Who was Kinger to judge? }
+
{ "I'm sorry, Grant."
They put their teeth into their stained gloves. They were stained with blue, along with their teeth and gums. Dripping blood like theyโ
"I'm so sorry. I don't know what I've done. I'm sorry. God, I'm- I'm-"
Then they looked up, pupils ringed with colour.+
Then they looked up at him, hands hesitating in their hovering place.
"I begged. I /begged/, Grant. I don't beg. I've never begged.
The worst part is,
IT answered." }
{ Kinger blinks. }
{ Maybe if he'd been a bit more lucid, he could've stopped it all. }
And they broke out in sobs.
"Please, Kinger..
I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry." }
{ Kinger doesn't remember the gap between that and the next time Blue regained themself. }
+
Then they looked up at him, hands hesitating in their hovering place.
"I begged. I /begged/, Grant. I don't beg. I've never begged.
The worst part is,
IT answered." }
{ Kinger blinks. }
{ Maybe if he'd been a bit more lucid, he could've stopped it all. }
{ Blue'd come to him that day. Said they didn't have much time. They'd been shaking, barely able to stand and eyes shivering with what Kinger could identify as absolute terror, layered with regret. }
{ And, they spoke to Kinger. As though he was their only saviour. }
+
{ He remembers the day before everything fell apart. }
{ Or... The day that he should've told everyone else about. But... He didn't. }
{ Such a failure. }
{ And now... }
{ ... }
{ He can't help but sigh. }
{ He's sorry. }
{ They said to him, "I made a mistake.
I messed up so badly, Grant."
Kinger didn't recognize the name.
"It just hurt so badly. Everythingโ It- It.. It was so-"
Their voices were shaking, unstable and terrified. +
