“If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?

I’m Stranded in Lagos guys
I Need Your Support 🙏
Hi, my name is Esther Ubak. I came all the way from Akwa Ibom State to Lagos for an exhibition, full of hope and excitement, dreaming that this trip would open doors for my craft and creativity.
I’m a startup without funding anywhere, and to make this trip possible, I had to borrow money from friends, gather materials, and cover my travel expenses, all with the hope that the exhibition would be a success.
But things didn’t turn out as I expected. The exhibition didn’t go as planned, and now, I’m faced with the reality of having to refund every single amount I borrowed.
I really need the support I can get right now.
So here I am, still in Ajah, Lagos, with all the beautiful, handcrafted, upcycled pieces I brought along. I cannot go back home until they are sold, and every piece carries the love, time, and creativity I poured into it.
Below this post are the products available for pickup, each with its price tag clearly displayed.
So If you’re in Lagos and love unique art, this is your chance to grab something special.
📍 Location: Ajah, Lagos
📲 To order: Screenshot your favorite piece(s) and DM me on WhatsApp: +2347080501180
If you can’t afford a piece right now, you can still share this post, refer a friend, or invite someone who might love them. Your support, big or small really means the world and can help turn this setback into a blessing. 🙏
An elderly man from a remote village in central Chad (100km from Bitkine) was brought to me at my request, to share agricultural advice, the kind of knowledge shaped by a lifetime in the fields. It was his first time in N’Djamena. He had a different attitude than most, out of respect, he never faced me directly when speaking.
I handed him a canned drink and sat nearby, watching as he turned it over in his hands for nearly ten minutes, examining it with quiet curiosity. I kept wondering why he didn’t simply open it and take a sip.
Eventually, he pulled out a knife and pierced the can. Surprised, I asked why he hadn’t used the tab. He calmly explained that he had never had a canned drink in his life. He had only ever seen them from a distance, never experienced one himself.
It left me speechless… got me by surprise, a quiet reminder of how far removed some lives still are from what others consider everyday normal life. 🇹🇩 #Tchad
Nowadays, they don’t send armies in their national military fatigues to re-colonize Africa. They send terrorists because the Terrorism Industrial Complex is the new colonial army.
Arabic and European colonizers have returned to Africa to terrorize it into submission.
But the land of Africa will defeat them all.
Africa is for Africans. France is for the French.
Game theory explains why forgiving someone who has not paid a cost for betraying you is a vicious mistake dressed up as a virtue. Forgiveness without consequence never 'resets' the relationship. It updates the other person's model of your response function.
You now taught them that betrayal costs nothing. So, the next defection is cheaper than the first one. You have effectively lowered the price of breaking your trust.
Genuine repair requires that the cost of defection be visible and proportional before the relationship resumes. Everything else is an invitation to defection.
🇲🇱 TODAY, ALL BLACK PEOPLE HAVE TO BE PROUD OF MALI
When the western funded terrorist launched an all out attack in order to overwhelm the defences of Mali and take the town of Kidal, the citizens in the town of Kidal caught the terrorist back EMPTY HANDED or with whatever they had, against well armed Jihadists.
I have never seen this before.
This will go down in history as one of the most heroic collective acts ever.
🇳🇬💔As a Nigerian soldier on the front line, I’m tired of this nonsense.
Bandit Gede Sabiu is flexing brand new military uniforms and carrying 10 magazines of AK-47 (300 rounds) ammunition that we soldiers don’t even get access to for one proper operation.
While we fight with limited rounds, these t£rror!sts are being fully kitted and supplied like reserve forces.
This is clear internal sabotage and collaboration.
The military must trace every supplier, every store, and every person involved in leaking uniforms and ammunition to bandits.
We are bleeding daily with shortages, yet enemies are well-dressed and well-armed.
Enough of the betrayal from within!
Investigate now and punish those feeding the terrorists.
🪖 From the battlefield we see everything and we see the truth.
