@rationalyankee@norespect4isles That play should be eaten 9/10. Difficult play, difficult throw, a veteran SS doesn’t make that throw. It’s growing pains of a young player. We can be patient, but also say let’s not do that again
@PokemonCor10007@pokedude1110@murphyjacks0n@JeffPassan@Dodgers I mean the not having to pay into revenue sharing definitely helps, so it is not entirely on all 29 other owners, especially when there are more teams paying over 150 mil (projected 2026 per fangraphs). The frugal owners are the minority here and the dodgers are 100 mil over 3rd
@PokemonCor10007@pokedude1110@murphyjacks0n@JeffPassan@Dodgers I don’t fault the dodgers for playing the game, and playing within the rules….but can also want a rule that would provide parity throughout the sport. While it might not be all true, maybe some of these smaller markets don’t try because they can’t even compete with the dollars
@JonHeyman You gonna come for the pitchers that are set at 8 seconds and hold the ball until the clock says 1??? The rule says he will be engaged by 8 seconds, there’s no loophole here.
How Arson Judge doing with that contract in San Fran?
@agreatbiglark@TalkinYanks@JonHeyman I wouldn’t argue .247 is below average for a major league hitter. League average has been in the .240s and .250s for almost 20 years. He’s average, put some respect on the man
🚨The Rangers didn't just acquire Pavel Dorofeyev—they made sure to keep him around. Trading for him and getting him re-signed could end up being one of the most underrated moves of the offseason. He's young, fast, has a scorer's touch, and still has plenty of upside.
