We were delighted to take part in the Cubeathon event today in @mountrathcs which was the culmination of a year’s work as part of the Transition to Post-Primary Programme organised in conjunction with @CentreLaois and @DoolanC . The programme used IZAK-9 cubes @AbacusandHelix as a bridging resource between primary and post-primary to facilitate very meaningful collaboration betwen ourselves, three other primary schools in our area and TY students in @mountrathcs. ‘Encouraging Playfulness’ , ‘Promoting Maths Talk’ & ‘Using Cognitively Challenging Tasks’ as per the new Maths curriculum @NCCAie really came to the fore 🧮 @SFICuriousMinds @OidePrimarySTEM

@HelenORahilly This is amazing news! I had 3 pregnancies, hospitalised for 5-6 months, drip-fed & heavily sedated to try to curb hyperemesis. Unable to eat, weight plummeted & constant relentless vomiting. Miserable! Tear in my eye reading this - hope it will help other mothers to fare better.
