Makes quiet a bit of sense when you think about it;
Left hand needs to be loose to let the sword swing more fluently.
Gripping it tightly with both hands would limited the energy flow while swinging and decrease overall impact.

In the second he encouraged me to do my own thing and focus more on Kalaripayattu
Here’s how I used to explain camera blocking to students. I showed them this step-keyed animation scene staged in different ways. Often students, would present their scenes in a neutral way, often with poor composition and flat staging. Perhaps something like this -
I made this long time ago purely out of enjoyment. Not thinking of it as a reel piece or anything. It’s funny how those type of shots end up becoming your favorites.
Both Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan disappeared from Hollywood after the system turned its back on them, Fraser for speaking his truth and Quan due to a lack of opportunities for Asian actors. Both getting embraced last night was powerful and cathartic. They deserve the world.
