@AdamZivo Again: I understand the argument for short term benefits in the Ukraine & Canada keeping up with technology. Drones have changed warfare - cheap, deadly & accessible. In the long term, the consequences could potentially outweigh the benefits.
@MarkBourrie@BarbaraRKay@TerfSchool@CANADALAND@TanyaTalaga The reason I mentioned the doc: deaths (fact) & rural FN youth moving to large towns (same in BC). One practice replaced another but didn't address the underlying problems. I'm not commenting on TB. Evidence didn't support conspiracy rather than accidental deaths IMO.
@UNGeneva Why don't you target specific countries that deny rights to gay and lesbian people instead of putting out these vague virtue signalling slogans mainly read by those of us in the west. Tell us what you're actually doing.
@jonkay 3 years ago I planned to protest drag queen protesters b/c I didn't see the harm. Now I do. It's less about clownish looks & more about reading 'gender unicorn' & promoting ideology. As well, men in drag is presented as a sexuality & a normal part of everyday life. It's not.
@PattyHajdu Last week stories were circulating about unhoused seniors. Sickening. The solution is not to designate another day - we're doubled up by now.
@BarbaraRKay Perhaps I was misunderstood? My comment was about replacing one system with another that will end up flawed. Not the situation on reserves - I'm not familiar enough with the data. I'm familiar with the risks faced by youth moving from rural areas to town.
@MrBrendanCox A sad and shocking day. I have a few mutual friends and they were devastated. Sorry for your loss. I hope things will be better in the future.
@AdamZivo This girl is cos playing. She's not a gay man and never will be. Many men do not want females like this in their space - it's uncomfortable and outside social norms. My instinct is that 'tiers of transition' will lead to a host of new problems such as reinforcing stereotypes.
@BarbaraPym1@helenstaniland@becca_begotten@Naeluckmate Huh? Must be a North American word. Itโs the most common word for female underwear that Iโm aware of. I never got used to โpantsโ meaning underwear rather than trousers in the UK. I didnโt condemn this as perverted.
