Immersion in video games has gone too far. Making you feel involved in the story is good, but all this ridiculous minutia is just unhealthy. Imagine spending hours of your life working out, eating right, getting outside, playing sports, going on dates, but it’s all just a video game. You turn it off and none of that is yours. Why not just spend those hours actually doing it, and you’re better for it? GTA is about crime. It’s about doing things you actually cannot do without destroying your life. This just sounds like a chore.
Kinda unrelated to the post but i feel most players dont get the fact that you always play as a villain in gta games, every single protag is a shade of sociopathy lol
A lot of people simply do not understand that you have to be against AI in principle, not just because it can look bad. It's getting impossible to tell apart already, and I have a feeling that once it's indistinguishable from real art, a lot of people won't be against it anymore.
