The school has, once again, worked in partnership with our colleagues at East Ayrshire Council's Skills and Workforce team to open up four new MAs in Horticulture, Facilities Management, Catering and Early Years for Doon leavers.

Our S2 pupils enjoyed a brilliant day out with the English Department at the Robert Burns Museum, Burn's Cottage and surrounding sites. They were learning about Burns and his contribution to Scottish life and poetry.

The S3 Physics class had a great day visiting Dumfries House STEM Centre to learn about Aerospace careers and develop their practical skills by soldering circuits and repairing RC cars to race against each other.
30 pupils S3-5 attended the @EastAyrshire Pathways to Careers event at @AyrshireColl. They thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to network around the 60+ employers in attendance. This event was crucial to the development of their career planning and management skills.
Our former pupil, George Carrick, was in school yesterday to provide a powerful presentation to S4 about his recent Testicular Cancer diagnosis.
George has had surgery and is going through treatment. His progress has been positive and his strength of character inspirational.
