Breakthrough Moment💕
You might remember the frightened mum cat and kittens we rescued from inside an old car last weekend. It’s only been a week since they came into our care, but yesterday felt like a really special step forward. Mum is still very nervous, her ears stay flat, her eyes are constantly wide, and she still throws in the odd hiss to remind us she’s not quite sure about humans yet, but yesterday, for the first time, she felt comfortable enough to come over and take food whilst Carolyn sat quietly beside her. For a frightened mum cat, that’s a huge bit of progress. Despite being scared herself, she continues to be an absolutely brilliant mum to her kittens who already seem to love every bit of attention they can get!
She’s still learning that she’s safe, but little moments like this are exactly how trust begins ❤️ Sharing our posts really, really helps our vital work

@that_stocks_guy@currys I agree with everything you have said. They are complete charlatans. And, when you post about it on X, you get inundated with 'Curry's bots'. They have a monopoly on the 'high street' with the products they sell though. Trading standards needs to investigate.
@olwenejones@mrafferty187@currys I would have gone with a different one though...it was the @DisneyPlus deal that sold it to me. It's fraudulent to mis advertise. I bet @Disney doesn't want to be associated with that.
@currys Hello Curry's, I've bought a JVC TV that is supposed to come with 12 months free Disney+. A great deal! BUT, I have no QR or numerical code to redeem it. I've been on the phone for the last 2 hours whilst they try to fix it...the result? Take it back to the store... Help!
@olwenejones@mrafferty187@currys The fact they're still advertising it is the joke. Apparently, it's only available for the first 20,000 TVs sold from the 8th December (I think). They need to change their adverts now. Tbh, I've got no issue with the actual telly.
@mrafferty187@currys Definitely false advertising. I haven't heard anything back apart from 'take it back to the store' - which I can't. Dreadful customer service and very unsatisfactory. What made it worse was I saw the offer advertised on TV after my complaint!
@CamillaTominey Being a parent of an estranged adult child, who has had no contact with anyone of both sides of the family - it is heart breaking. He didn't come to my mum's funeral, got married and had a child himself. I hope one day he will find his way back but he has chosen his own way.
