@SouthernKeeks The mirror image of hypocrisy in Maine and Texas is deeply frustrating. These groups of voters with high standards but only as applied to other people.

And for those who like Phillip K. Dick, 'The Lathe of Heaven' is Le Guin doing her best impression of him.
@waterstonebooks I personally love her Aliance-Union novels and novellas. The most accessible is "Merchanter's Luck" or "Finity's End" and the best is probably "Cyteen", but it's a pretty big bite.
