@SamanthaAyoub4 Listening to the two girls accepting their friend with a boy that treats them bad, is what saddens me the most! We as adults are able to realize this but if the child believes this is okay, then what? They will accept it #lesson11
This ted talk goes into depth on how our information gets out on social media so easily! They speak about devices (vizio tv, amazon echo) that we purchase and basically let it bug us in our own living rooms!

@RajG001@KylaVernonClay1 You're both right! Awareness is so important and everyone should take a minute to think whether they want to be private or not! #lesson9
In the article they mention that through our "wired world" we can connect details on our private life such as where you went on vacation two years ago, how much electricity you used last December or what date you paid your income taxes all through data-matching software. #lesson9
@MenghiKayla Honestly I think about this all the time! I will look for clothing online or a movie to go watch and no matter which social media application I go on their will be an add corresponding to what a researched #lesson9
In the video, they mention that some school boards have children elected to help with policy decisions! I believe this is so important in our system because WE as students are the ones affected by the policies implemented! #lesson7
@JustinZ47897150 YES! Biggest realization of 2019! I began to realize I was publisizing my daily life to show people what I was doing more so than for myself. Its been two months I deleted instagram and twitter! I cant say its changing my life drastically but its a positive change to my life!
This is so accurate! And some people can make comments about how "good" we look with the filters, which can influence how we think of ourselves, that with filters we look "better"! #lesson7
@SabrinaZrihen I feel like no one really mentions this but I couldn't agree more, the fear of being watched through the camera lens is so REAL, do we really know? #lesson6
Things are easier said than done. Which is why face to face communication has diminished recently. It’s easier to say things over a text or email than brining it up to the person in real life. You don’t have to deal with whatever emotions would follow. Sad. #Lesson6
