Going as far in the Paris Olympics is not even the target anymore. That people like @GilsArenaShow have known about South Sudan is a win. That such people have depicted their ignorance and racism is actually a non-issue.
This country must succeed.

@anyieth27 Yep! Only that it takes learning to a different height altogether. Textbook understanding of maths doesn't guarantee success anymore. New dimension now is learning programming which is a world apart from maths. In a nutshell, it's a new tool to do maths; not pen & paper no more.
Technology advancement could be regress for oneself. Who would imagine in 2000 comes the age of data science, Electrical Engineering (for instance) would be useless without programming? Applied maths was the foundation of Engineering till the big man, data science, pulled up!
Dr. Majak de Agoot is a person of distinctive competencies, luminaries, public-spirited and dependable leader. Our People should cease their covetousness and unnecessary detestation for Dr. Majak.
@NguenyVernon@Aquaengnoq Nope. President could only dissolve state government if state insecurity projected threat to existence of SSD! That condition was never met by any state government to have governor sacked. Besides, election would follow in 60 days! Never happened? Why, coz Kiirdit cheerypicks.
@NguenyVernon@Aquaengnoq There's no such constitution, Vernon! 😂 Kiirdit appointing pple is not constitutional. It's a violation we accepted, normalised, operationalised. If we look at it, bro... Aki, the constitution doesn't allow Kiirdit to appoint gnors. I am talking of constitution, not R-ARCISS.
While going to school, the only motivation we had was to afford (black) tea like teachers and/or join the liberation quest like John Garang. Now that we can afford 'tea', the attachment between us & S. Sudan goes way back to the village school days.
This country must succeed
@duot_atem I see an association of 'kids' who perfected the arts of insults ~ Atem, Bior & Ability Chol coagulating on this one? What happened to the strategy of negative adjectives? Is it backfiring? If this logic holds, a thing or two are in the open about your own families.
Goodluck!
@MabilAguek@Aquaengnoq Well, that's where expertise & experience come in handy! @Aquaengnoq's an economic PhD who understands the value of opportunity cost. There's a high likelyhood S. Sudan can't afford such massive projects at once. Without development partners funding, the choice is ckear! Fair?
@MabilAguek@Aquaengnoq Bro. The road passea through east of Twic Land which without a permanent dyke can still be washed away! I don't know where you get your guts but yeah, if your village has water proof bitumen, unfortunately, not Maar or even Ayod! Not Malakal, either!
Congratulations to SSBFed and its coach Luol Deng for making history. Qualifying for 2023 Basket Ball World Cup isn't a small gift to our young nation.
The precious blood of our martyrs who secured us an independent country wasn't shed in vain. I love you all!
Dr Nyaba concludes his autobiography with these 2 sentences (p. 426):
“My humble assessment of the political situation in S. Sudan is that the SPLM may not sustain itself beyond the current leadership. Old ties may never bind again.”
KANU, NCP, SSU, EPRDF easily come to mind!
@kennethosiruohi@Aquaengnoq "Viva voce" is a Latin phrase for oral examination, which is usually the last phase of a PhD studies! What's your confusion?
