BREAKING: UGH! Racist Pete Hegseth has REMOVED the portrait of the first Black 4-star general, Chappie James, a war hero who flew 179 missions for our country!

In a breathtaking act of disrespect, Secretary of War Crimes Pete Hegseth ordered the removal of the portrait of General Daniel “Chappie” James Jr. from the Air Force Art Gallery, and then left the space blank.

General James was an American hero who . . .

-- Flew 179 combat missions in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam;

-- Became the first Black four-star general in U.S. military history; and

-- Famously stared down Muammar Qaddafi in Libya, gun in hand, forcing him to yield.

Presidents as far back as Ronald Reagan honored James. Even Ron DeSantis approved naming a bridge after him. He was respected across party lines as a trailblazer and a hero, who earned every star on his shoulder.

Just to remind you, Hegseth spent most of his National Guard career as a public affairs desk jockey and never advanced beyond the rank of major, and now cosplays as some kind of battle-hardened combat veteran.

James’ portrait, of course, was taken down as part of Pentagon Pete’s crusade against diversity in the military, which is doing so much for morale that one longtime Pentagon employee who walked past James’s portrait every day for a decade reportedly retired after it was removed.

Hegseth has also infamously blocked promotions for Black and female officers, fired senior Black leaders, and worked to restore monuments to Confederate traitors. He truly seems to believe that accomplishments by Black service members don’t count in his Pentagon.

Maryland Governor Wes Moore, a combat veteran, rightly called the purging of Chappie James “despicable, and not representative of the Army I served in.”

Removing a pioneering general’s portrait and leaving the wall empty is a deliberate insult to generations of Black Americans who served and sacrificed for this country.

With Trump’s blessing, Kegseth is erasing heroes who don’t fit his narrow, lily-white fantasy about the U.S. military, where one-third of all active members aren’t white, and a fifth women.

Chappie James has earned a place in history the likes of Pete Hegseth will never, ever hold.

He is deceiving himself if he thinks he can erase it.

i pray debt collectors call me

last month one called about a $4,300 medical bill. i let him do his whole speech. then i said six words:

"is this debt past the statute?"

silence

in 38 states, debt expires after 3-7 years. once it passes the statute of limitations, they cannot sue you for it. legally. the debt still exists on paper but they have zero enforcement power

they're calling you hoping you don't know this. because the second you make a payment, even $1, the clock RESETS and they can sue you again for the full amount

that's why they say "just pay $50 to show good faith." that $50 reactivates the entire debt. it's a trap and they know exactly what they're doing

the play when a collector calls:

step 1: say nothing about paying. say this: "please provide written validation of this debt under FDCPA Section 809"

they are legally required to stop all collection activity until they send you written proof. most junk debt buyers can't produce it because they bought your debt in a bundle for 4 cents on the dollar and don't have the original paperwork

step 2: check your state's statute of limitations at your state AG's website. if the debt is past the SOL, send this letter:

"this debt is time-barred under [state] statute of limitations. any attempt to collect or sue is a violation of the FDCPA. cease all contact immediately"

step 3: if it's on your credit report and it's past 7 years, dispute it. "this account exceeds the FCRA 7-year reporting period. remove immediately." bureaus must remove it within 30 days or face $1,000 per violation

i helped someone wipe $23,000 in zombie debt in one afternoon. four letters. zero dollars paid

the collectors who called her every week? gone. the accounts on her credit report dragging her score down 80+ points? deleted. she went from 588 to 691 in 45 days without paying a cent

debt collectors buy your old debt for pennies and try to scare you into paying full price. their entire business model depends on you not knowing your rights

He didn’t fire her because Americans were murdered by her rabid masked goons.
He didn’t fire her for posing for photos in front of human beings in cages like they were livestock.
He didn’t fire her for racially profiling Latinos, African-Americans, Arab Americans and Asian Americans.
He didn’t fire her because she was arresting legal permanent residents and US citizens and detaining them illegally.
He didn’t fire her because she was keeping children in fetid, rancid concentration camps without access to clean water, fresh food or medical care.
He didn’t fire her for turning our cities into militarized war zones.

He fired her because she made him “look bad.”

That was the red line.
None of the other things were.

Once they are allowed to open up trade, do business with other, not solely the United States, countries interested in trade and mutual progress, things could shift. As it is now, a colony is at the mercy of trade solely w/ the colonial powers.
