Make sure to follow
How to get a job in 10 steps.
1. Create an excel sheet and fill it up with at least 200 companies, links to their career page, and also their LinkedIn.
2. Write your CV in about 10 formats to suit different industry styles. - don’t submit one CV for 500 roles.
3. Look for keywords in the JD and if you have it, make sure you highlight it very well…- Fhis can get you pass the first stage.
4. Know that it’s normal to get rejection letters, you’re not the only one looking for a job. Yours is coming.
5. It’s normal to apply for more than 100 roles before getting a job. You’re not bad, it’s normal.
6. Apply to at least 50 a day- Looking for a job is a job on its own.
7. I know people say if you meet about 50% of the criteria, you should apply, I won’t tell you that. But please apply to roles you qualify for so as not to waste your time for interviews… you want to go into any interview with your confidence.
8. Go to LinkedIn and look for the HR of the company, the employee section of the company page is useful. Pitch yourself to them or the founder.
9. A lot of people have gotten jobs from twitter. Don’t play with it.
10. When you tell people around you that you’re looking for a job and they ask you what type. DONT SAY ANYTYPE. Be specific. You went to school for a reason, act like an adult.

Two years ago, I got back to my apartment from a trip and found out my neighbor who was heavily pregnant had given birth to a beautiful baby girl. I was so excited and went to say hello to the baby.
“Awwn, you’re such a cutie”
She was cute and soft and smelt like a baby, lol.

I took up this pretty lady as a mentee September 2022. She learnt UX/UI for about 8 months.
Upon her completion, her consistency sorta caught my fancy hence I fixed her up for an internship with stipends.
She got a full time role today and I feel so great & accomplished fr❤️
