Islam is about the following:

Protecting the mind that’s why alcohol and drugs are prohibited.

It prohibits gambling - that destroys families

Porn is prohibited - many women get exploited and abused in that industry

It’s about protecting the body - see above.

It’s about protecting the family unit - that’s why adultery is punishable
( I personally don’t agree with that but that’s my own opinion, I’m just stating the facts)

It’s about protecting the elderly - that’s why Muslims don’t put their grandparents in care homes

It’s about protecting the community - that’s why there are such severe punishments to act as a deterrent ie thieves lose their hands

Justice - peace - health - family -

You combine all that and a lot more and it all comes under leading a righteous life so that God will grant you an eternity in paradise.

I think that’s quite a fair characterisation of what Islam promotes and is about 🤝
