The narrator says Mr. Finch can't hear him. Mr. Finch disagrees. Who's right?

@ChocoMilkWrites paper is a good pick for that bet - cutouts forgive a lot, and stiff motion just reads as creepy. how far along are you?

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@FOE_01 mad god is proof the patience is part of the horror. 30 years of moving things a millimeter at a time

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@horrorluvr666 same. the slightly wrong frame rate does half the work - real objects that almost move right are what get under the skin

The Radio said everyone. It meant everyone. Did you blink?

@gaurangxoxo the white rim on the waves is what sells it as cut paper - real paper edges catch the lamp exactly like that

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@stephenRB4 one building. a few rooms. everyone inside has a different reason they never left

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@PrettyFreakyTV the drain shot right before her name card sets the tone fast. is the kickstarter for the pilot or a full season?

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@Awarfromhell animating the whole episode before any color takes patience. how long did ep 2 take?

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@Mar_Animation 28 minutes in blender is a lot to rig, light and render. that last 2% always takes the longest

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@Miguel_77e releasing the pilot in parts is smart - you see what lands before making the next one

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@RoadWarriorJohn the horde crossing while the skid-steer just sits there is a great little beat

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@kevenfrkey every frame - that explains why it moves so smooth

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@The_violet_crow the slow push in while the smile changes is creepier than any jumpscare would be

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@Oleamberstudios paper cutouts on a real miniature set is my favourite mix. did you cut a new one for every pose?

[Dormitorium Archive @DormitoriumArch]

@maymortem69 the sheriff's office card doing the exposition instead of a narrator works really well. is Tantalus one long story or separate tapes?
