The Parliamentary Ombudsman found that failures to properly inform 1950s-born women about changes to the State Pension age caused injustice. I welcome the Prime Minister’s renewed commitment to explore routes to fair redress. 1/2
As Chair of the APPG on State Pension Inequality for Women, I have joined MPs from ten parties in asking the Prime Minister to meet campaign representatives and set out a plan this autumn. Colleagues across Parliament stand ready to support progress on this long-running issue.2/2
@vinted I’m trying to access my account. Tried all the advice on the site. I have a balance to retrieve and I would like to list things. Could @vinted get back to me please? Anyone else had this issue? I have left feedback but no response.
@WASPI_Campaign@UKLabour used WASPI women as a stick to beat the Tories. As soon as they were in power they dropped them like a stone. It’s disgusting and they should pay that compensation they fought so vociferously for whilst in opposition!

After the welfare bill climb down the government are under more
pressure with a #WASPI debate tomorrow. A chance for MPs to challenge the government’s refusal to pay compensation for maladministration.
Tomorrow's debate "is our chance to show MPs there is public pressure behind this campaign," says @fawcettsociety We're grateful for their support. Please tweet your MP & ask them to speak out for #WASPI women at the Backbench debate on THURSDAY, 3rd July. It's time for justice.
We have lost almost 400,000 #WASPI women and we lose one more woman every 12 minutes, what a shameful statistic. @PHSOmbudsman recommended compensation and a senior High Court judge ruled that the case is "arguable" and "ought to be considered at a final hearing",

After years of denial, the Govt accepted that #WASPI women are victims of maladministration because it delayed notifying our state pension ages - but it now says none of us suffered injustice. We believe this is not only an outrage, but legally wrong.

“You can check your pension age on the Govt website” says @DWPgovuk boss. Funnily enough, that’s what #WASPI women did, and until 2016 it gave them the wrong age. Maladminstration requiring compensation.
