Such a shame (for me, I know). Barely touched #warhammer #40k since 7th. The way things like bolt action flows and is so easy to pick up and play, then 40k is all cards and sub-rules and books all over the place. Just feels a chore (to me!) and hard to keep track.

WIP - some Scibor Dwarfs. Bit shiny as just finished with grime / white spirit, but will dullcoat. Still some snow/grass to add to the base etc.

I love the Scibor sculpts and think they will mix well with the GW old stuff. I used to have around 2000pts Dwarfs and sold them 😕 but tbf were a bit rag tag so looking forward to starting over with one theme

I do think @warhammer should have released at least a base core army for each faction and then done further expansion later. Just to allow people to have a game with their faction of choice. Now the likes of me buying 3rd party mini’s to do so.

Appreciate others may not agree, but feels like @warhammer trashed #Votann and swung far to far the other way from 9th. Could live with slow but too pricey. Lack of options and JT mechanic only feels like it gets WS/BS back to baseline, rather than a worked bonus.

@warhammer Really digging in to a character or squad, their lore, then painting them and then playing them, they almost build a history of their own. (Just a shame some are too bogged down with rule bloat they stay in the dark, sorry!).
