Greenland sale

The useless Danish news media is ignoring the unique opportunity for Denmark to become the most prosperous country in the world.

They don't inform the public, so people don't understand. And so the politicians can go on rejecting the idea of a sale without public objection.

They need to tell people of what a sale for, say, $500 billion, would mean for a small country like Denmark and its inhabitants. It's not that much for the U.S., but for us it would be life-changing.

For just the return on investment for one year (~$30 billion), we could have:
• Universal free daycare (Additional $2 billion)
• Free school lunch to all students ($0.5 billion)
• Eliminate all capital gains tax ($8 billion)
• Halve the student-to-teacher ratio ($3 billion)
• High speed rail connecting Jutland and Zealand ($4 billion)
• Extend paid parental leave to 18 months ($1 billion)
• Eliminate all student loan debt ($5.5 billion)
• Double research funding at universities ($5 billion)
• Nationwide EV charging network ($1 billion)

Note that many of these are one-off, so we can afford more new things next year, still with the return alone.

The news media is not informing us about any of this, at all. People have no idea.

So what will likely happen instead is that time will just pass, and we will miss this opportunity. In the future, Greenland will likely move towards independence and then make a deal with the U.S. without involving Denmark. And we will get nothing.

This is possibly the largest opportunity for my country in history, and the news media is not even writing about it.
