Yes it’s cringe. When Thor Steve and Tony team up it fits naturally in the story. This was clearly done because we wanted a “girls get it done” virtue signal scene and the whole movie needed to stop and spotlight it so feige and company could take a deep bow and hold for applause. And for the record I really like the Wanda Nat and Okoye fighting Proxima Midnight scene in Infinity War because it made sense and didn’t bring the story to a screeching halt to virtue signal.

Steve lifting Thors Hammer was the high point of the MCU. The absolute peak of it. This scene was the precise moment where the fall begins.

Good for 14 year old you. Glad she liked it. And that experience is valid. But other people are also entitled to their opinions and your feelings aren’t an emergency.
