@thecavemommy They were well fed, they weren't hurting, they weren't alone. They weren't scared, they weren't deprived. Once they started getting more sleep, they finally awoke without red rimmed eyes and dark circles. They finally played happily instead of being whiny and tired all day.
@thecavemommy I sleep trained mine while I stayed in room. I spoke to them and never, ever left. This was after breastfeeding, cuddling, singing, reading and laying them down. They protested, but they also learned how to sleep without a sleep prop. On day 1 they awoke healthier and happier.
@heyekp I had 3 babies (yep, all three) who woke every 20 minutes for about the entire first year. It was miserable and it messed with my mental health not to mention I was so sleep deprived I drifted across the middle line with them in my car one day. At some point, sleep is priority.
@ElijahSchaffer No amount of modern conveniences dull the mental health toll of a little one needing you so constantly 24/7 with no tribe of aunts, mother's helper cousins or grandparents to share the load. It's a unique and nuanced version of modern version of exhaustion.
@RepFaison Sure, okay. I could give all that up. I grew up without it. And you know what? Life was WAY better back then. I think the rest of you would be alright, too.
@krassenstein@Roogdoog1 And you're bringing this up because you care about them. You care deeply about their well-being. You're filled with compassion for your fellow man. Is that it?
@toobaffled I'd start taking Annatto-GG (vitamin E in the very specific form of Tocotrienol as opposed to tocopherols). See Barrie Tan to understand why. And then consider milling your own grain (see Sue Becker to understand why) to address skin/immune issues.
@celani_joshua@AzPetrich In fact, growing these things on an apt balcony is nice bec you don't have to weed, carrots and potatoes don't require polination and zucchini is super easy to hand pollinate. It takes a few seconds. Valuable skills that aren't passed down any longer, sadly.
@KaraCorruption@AzPetrich If they MANDATED cherries instead blueberries, yeah, that'd be UnAmerican. It's merely guided suggestions based on what they know. Any American is FREE to grow their own berries and lettuce greens. Literally takes an old bucket and a little porch. $18 at Home Depot.
@BoomBlouw@AzPetrich You'll die if you don't get blueberries and cherries year round?πHey, anyone can grow potatoes and put up broth. There many ppl in your town who raise chickens (get some eggs). You'll live. We are so entitled and soft these days. Boohoo, I can't have summer fruit all year long.
@celani_joshua@AzPetrich I dunno. Start growing and canning your own food? My grandparents did it. They cldnt get out to grocery in deep winter of Montana where they lived. Or make a friend who does this. Or don't expect summer produce all year long? We are entitled, spoiled and soft these days.
@alexito2224@NeoWokio That I'll agree with. Our government has always (always!) wanted to hide things from us. This is nothing new. I'm referring to the media purposely manipulating how and what people think about any given subject.
@alexito2224@NeoWokio You're not answering the my original question. Why the pic of RFKJ? Why no pic of the head of Agriculture or head of USDA? You are being led to feel a certain way about a certain person based on half truths and missing information.
