I knw this z part of growing up. Being away Building something. But today I really felt the distance. I guess sometimes Ramzan doesn’t just test your patience with hunger. It tests your heart too.

I made my own sehri today. Nothing special. Just something quick. It’s not even about the food. It’s the feeling. Back home, even if you were half asleep, you weren’t alone. Someone was pouring chai. Someone was asking for water. Someone was complaining about waking up.

Doing iftar alone is something I didn’t think would affect me. You sit down, make dua, take the first bite… and there’s no one across the table. No one saying “sirf sharbat ma ska laga dody om okhra”. I’m not complaining. Alhamdulillah for another Ramazan.
