How should I put it...

I understand that television coverage is a job, of course, but I felt there was no need to go out of the way to film a player who was crying. Tears aren't a spectacle for public consumption.

These players have poured their hearts and souls into this; while I know the broadcasters might think showing that makes for compelling TV, I felt it wasn't something that should be aired."

It was a small yet powerful gesture—one that spoke volumes about the deep respect he held for his teammate.
