@PureInnocence She shrugged a little bit.
“I honestly think that’s pretty badass. I mean, most people would just pick the money. It’s admirable that you’re standing by it. Id probably marry the first rich guy i met.”
She let out a short laugh.
@PureInnocence A few billion dollars. Wow. She missed her money.
“That’s - I mean. You’re never going to get married? Just - stay single forever?”
She raised her eyebrow.
@PureInnocence She had a problem with … her reactions. She needed to get that under control.
“Im really sorry. I get that. Not my mom. But my stepdad. He basically just sent me out here. I have no idea when I’m getting my money back. At least you know what you have to do.”
@PureInnocence She blinked. Again. A few times, this time around.
“I’m sorry - married?! Like - in the 1800s?”
She let out a small laugh, before covering her mouth.
“I’m sorry. That’s - crazy!”
@PureInnocence Well. There it was. Her parents. Not that the girl knew about her…past.
Arms crossed over her chest, shaking her head.
“I can’t ask them for money. Money’s… tight.”
Tightly locked away where Kensley can’t reach it, that’s for sure.
@PureInnocence “You should put it on your bucket list.”
She said, shrugging. Before giving the girl a dramatic roll of her eyes.
“No. I’m probably not going to be able to go for another fifty years at this rate.”
Dramatic? Probably. But she didn’t want to talk about her money problems.
@PureInnocence “It is! Nice! I just - the weather sucks. I mean, I’m from New York. And the weather there also sucks. But this … it’s cloudy all the time.”
@PureInnocence “Oh, Athens. I’ve been there once or twice. My parents loved the beach. We don’t go anymore though. Mom got tired of it.”
She rolled her eyes. She didn’t talk about her parents much. At least, not now.
“Did you like it there?”
