@RRR0BYN Not sure if everybody could pull off the leg break move, but I’ve kicked a pitbull off my little dog when it was attacking him. It took several HARD kicks to the head to let go. But 1) always have a knife on hand, 2) slip that blade behind the ear or in eye socket & pry, 3) done.
@HardPass4 Oof. Sure looks like the civvy approached from the direction of the shooter and she just snap shot him before realizing he wasn’t a threat. Yikes.
Okay, y'all, @TheRascallion has somehow found himself shootin' the bush with a bunch a Rhodies. Maybe that animal can time travel. Who really knows?
Regardless he has decided that this week's battlefield handout is going to be the venerable CZ 75 9mm.

@japan_nobunaga We’re in Texas and keep the temp between 21.6 C and 22.2 C, so on the cold side of A and into B, depending on the day. In the colder months, we heat very little, so it will be cooler, more like 20 C.
@HardPass4 Also those little plastic poker chips that are like 7/8 in make good targets when taped to cardboard or paper. Shot one match that put 10 on a target at 200 yds and you had 10 shots to see how many you got. That was tough…and humbling.
@japan_nobunaga Can’t really defend it, but can explain why it’s hard to leave it. Consider the vast amount of existing infrastructure that is all Imperial sized. So much of it has to be fixed and worked with, and can’t be easily replaced. So we have to keep using those sizes, though it’s odd.
@DaleStarkA10 Yup. My wife’s from the OR coast and we’ve spent lots of time there, we and our kids love it. But we live in TX, mostly because I refuse to deal with OR politics and the crappy economy. It’s all being run into the ground by the crazies in Portland and Eugene.
@japan_nobunaga Texas vs Oklahoma is quite the rivalry, too. For whatever reason, we don’t seem to care as much about whatever Arkansas and New Mexico are doing, and to some extent Louisiana. But OK sparks rivalry from most of TX. No hate at all, just competition (unlike CA).
@MaryTilesTexas I’ve played nearly all the Battlefield games, from 1942 up to the current Battlefield 6, and the Battlefront (Star Wars) variants. Used to do a lot of Counterstrike, but not so much any more. Difficult and sometimes aggravating, but I like the variety in those games.
@AlysssaHazel@ChristianMagrum Quigley is one of my favorite movies! Can’t even estimate how many times I’ve watched it. It’s one of those family movies where the quotes pop up in random conversations over years…decades, now.
@Chronodendron I read waaaaaaaay more than my wife. I buy far more paper books, have a Kindle full of ebooks, and will occasionally still buy a hardback if it’s from an author I really like or a series that I know. But it’s still less than what I used to do…the selection is slim these days.
