@PetrocTrelawny@BBCRadio3 Thanks for all your early mornings, Petroc. You've made life so much easier to navigate first thing. Best wishes from a damp campsite in Brittany.
@PetrocTrelawny@BBCRadio3 About 40 years ago, a neighbour of ours performed a monologue in the village show, with the refrain, ' All I wanted was a bunch of daffodils, tied up with raffia, out of a bucket." I've hunted for the script, but never found it.
@RevRichardColes I was in there only that morning! I used to live up the road, but now visit the area only for the dentist. I stock up when I go. The shopping list for next time has started already!
@ruthiehelen3@PetrocTrelawny@BBCRadio3 Unfortunately had me racing for the off switch. Loathe that piece with a passion. Managed to time the on switch with the back announcement, so we'll count that as a win.
@RevRichardColes A Canon I worked for years ago had a very tatty cloak which needed significant work to it. A member of his flock was a costumier for TV period dramas. That cloak had the make-over of its life, and was the envy of the Deanery.
@NaomiLWood@BBCRadio3 I gave up on Saturday breakfast when Martin Handley stopped doing it. His replacement was someone apparently kicked off 6 Music. The latest incarnation seems incapable of reading a script with any aplomb. Would you believe we've migrated to Tony Blackburn on R2?!
@PetrocTrelawny@BBCRadio3@BBCSingers So lovely to hear Fine Arts Brass. The trombone player, Simon Hogg, was my windband tutor at music centre back in the '80s.
At one point the members were Bryan, Richard, Andy, Stephen and Simon.
@BElleinbrighton@Bronagh_Lidd @SBurke_Adams @SussexTW@SussexIncidents It is -- well, Little Horsted-- but it was travelling on the wrong carriageway for a while because of not being able to easily negotiate some of the smaller roundabouts.
@Bronagh_Lidd @SBurke_Adams @SussexTW@SussexIncidents It's turning round -- at least, the body remains still, while the locos on either end swap direction -- and will then head for the A27 westbound carriageway.
