Two guys who like college basketball, talking about it. Deep dives into college hoops history. Email [email protected]. 🎵 Chuck, I had a Double Bonus 🎵
St. John’s has reached out to Yale graduate transfer Jordan Bruner. Averaged 10.9 PPG, 9.2 RPG last season, @jakeweingarten had it first
Red Storm also made the Top-16 for Quinnipiac transfer Kevin Marfo
Both players would be immediately eligible #sjubb
If you haven't listened to the latest Double Bonus Podcast episode, you're not the only one (unfortunately). But you can still listen -- it's remarkable relevant despite being recorded yesterday. https://t.co/rVgkuSrZbO
The Double Bonus is back at the start of Championship Week to discuss the two most pressing issues on most fans' minds: Daylight Saving Time and the Palestra.
But they saved plenty of time for Kansas, Providence, the Bracket Matrix, the NET and more. https://t.co/3CV60agJsV
Creighton sophomore guard Marcus Zegarowski has been diagnosed with a meniscus injury to his right knee.
He will continue to be evaluated in the days to come and is considered doubtful for Creighton’s BIG EAST Tournament opener on Thursday.

St. John's about to knock off a top-10 team on campus for the first time since 1974,
Mike Anderson has kept his teams pushing despite 12 losses in 15 games and Heron's injury.
Creighton looks all out of sorts.
The season-to-season improvements of Quincy McKnight, Romaro Gill and Jared Rhoden are why Seton Hall is this good. Myles Powell has arguably been a bit disappointing this season, and yet the Pirates are legit Final Four threats. Credit to Coach Willard and his players.
Per BartTorvik's (@totally_t_bomb) metrics, Providence was the 119th best team in the country through the Florida loss; 13th best team in the country since.
Villanova 0.79 PPP in this game as 14th best offensive team in the country. Did they have a bad shooting day? Sure. But that's only a footnote.
Looks like Villanova's third lowest points per possession at home in Big East play in KenPom Era (since 01-02); worst since 2013. #pcbb
Luwane Pipkens will always have Leap Day in 2020. A legendary performance on the road against a program that has dominated the league for year. Incredible turnaround in season for him. #pcbb
Disastrous finish for Penn @ Yale -- Yale scores last 8 points on glut of Quakers turnovers to win by 3. Penn remains a game behind Brown (losers at home to Princeton) for last Ivy Tourney slot. They play in Providence tomorrow.
Was watching Indiana at Temple from November 1997 at the Core States Spectrum on YouTube and this promo came on from the ESPN2 feed. Classic threads (also Jim Everett!). (Also, Dewayne Staats and Bill Raftery on the call.)

Back by unpopular demand (thanks, Steph!), the Double Bonus returns with as much insight as you'd expect from two people who took nearly three months off from a college basketball podcast during the college basketball season. https://t.co/oEyqfOglFy
