@williams4ed@NPR I see a bigger issue here (not to say absenteeism isnโt but that is its own onion). As a nation we need to change the narrative that kids are behind due to the pandemic. The system needs to recognize a year was lost and adjust instead of compounding the issue.
@williams4ed I am not familiar with the what has occurred to speak on it. Certainly, bullying shouldnโt occur for kids or adults. You, as a Board Member, posting a meme about cyber bullying the Mayor is not setting a good example for the kids in your district. I hope you can see that.
@williams4ed For many in your district it appears you have no real response and refuse to comment because you are hoping this all disappears. It is unfortunate as the district does need diversity. Please handle your personal affairs prior to trying to handle district affairs.
@williams4ed@EngSchools Do your civic duty and withdraw from the race. If you truly cared about the district you would end this and the impact it is having on the community. You are taking away from the hard work of the staff and students.
@bmoothdenver@williams4ed@CityCastDenver Thank you for sharing and bringing more light to this. The candidate has not provided a response (other than a tweet with no substance). Despite responses requests here and on Nextdoor he has been silent. His agenda posted on Nextdoor states our voice matters, apparently not.
@williams4ed Not the publicity our schools need and it will take away from the hard work of our staff and students. From my perspective, this is why the present matters. Active are the present. Had the story only represented the past, I personally, would not have been vocal. 2/2
@williams4ed Basing my comment here upon the article, if the warrants are realized then we may be faced with headlines that read a member of the Englewood School Board has been taken into custody for 2 or 3 year old active warrants. 1/2
