One thing about adulthood that way too many people learn way too late (and have no choice but to learn the hard way): you have to be deliberate/proactive about everything. For the first time in your life, you can't be passive participant in anything.
I've found myself getting less cynical over media as I've aged. Understanding how difficult it is to make anything of quality just makes grateful that something I liked existed at all. Good, bad, or flawed, what a blessing it is to experience other folks work before its all gone
If you had to choose just ONE comic book (or manga or bande desinee) cover that you would argue is the best, what is it and why?
I’m giving some thought to making an episode about the best comics covers for my show’s 10th anniversary. Maybe asking other comic book shows and pros to select their fav?
