I’m officially responding to @ShottyHorroh’s call out.
Set it up.
Or stop mentioning my name at this point when you bored for a day on twitter.
You avoided me for years for a reason don’t make me remind you why.
Sad day today, decided not to renew #wolves season ticket for me and my son. We simply cannot as a single dad whose son lives with him afford such a price hike. Gutted as since he was 3 it’s been our thing, it was always the thing me and my dad did.
@CoJayLives I ain’t even on about all that shit he does that to himself. He’s disrespected in terms of what he’s done in the scene though thats what I’m saying, and he shouldn’t even put himself in a position where a fan can tell him how much they think he should get paid.
#wwfc | Nuno, Lopetegui & O’Neil
The subject of any ex manager is always a divisive one, particularly when you’ve had an emotional attachment with them.
Nuno gave many Wolves fans the best few years they’ve ever had (me included), but like with all good things it came to an end and probably did so at the right time.
I’ll always be grateful for those years, but when he’s sat in a dug out competing for the same things as my club, the gratitude and memories will be parked for as long as he’s at that club. Plus, make no mistake, he’ll be desperate to beat Wolves.
As for Lopetegui, he took over an underachieving squad & was given money to spend, so although I appreciate him guiding Wolves to safety, with the resources available he probably achieved roughly what was expected.
Having said that, on the way we suffered a few no shows in the form of a 6-0 & a 5-0, then he dragged his heels departing a job he decided he was better than at the end of the season, leaving Wolves bang in trouble just before the season started.
From what I understand, the Spaniard spent a lot less time getting involved with day to day coaching than O’Neil does & isn’t anywhere near as detailed with his game plans.
He may not have been the fashionable choice, but the former Bournemouth man is doing a similar job to predecessor with more restrictions & way less resources.
I don’t think many people understand what a good job Gary O’Neil has done.
He got the job in August 2023 5 days before the season began. He entered the job with a dismantled team, one that had 3 managers in 3 separate years before him.
Last season Wolves top goal scorer was Ruben Neves/ Podence with 6 goals. Wolves also finished the season with 31 goals, the lowest in the league.
This season Wolves’ top goal scorer Hwang Hee-Chan has already bagged 8 goals and is flying for both club and country. Furthermore, Wolves have already scored 21 goals in 16 games! This comes with Matheus Cunha finding his feet and both of our wingers coming in key to the season beating giants like Manchester City and Tottenham.
Wolves currently Sit in 13th place level in points with Chelsea and Brentford (19).
With Neto expected to be back soon, and Cunha back to scoring ways, how do you think Gary O’Neils side will fair this season?
BREAKING:🚨 Wolves have agreed on new deal for Hee-chan Hwang untill 2028 with an option to extend for a further year. [ @FabrizioRomano 🥇] #wolves#wwfc
@k3ym4n6 I know man. It’s just mad every game now. Not just ours, (deffo been done over way more than most though) but every game has some sort of stupid decisions in it that take 10 minutes.
You know what's the sad reality... We are no longer talking about the football after games anymore.
We're constantly talking about VAR and the shocking decisions week in week out.
VAR needs to be Scrapped! It's taking all enjoyment out of the game!
