36-year-old Meghan Brown was leaving a physical therapy appointment in 2015 when the glass door shattered on her.
Brown says the event caused a traumatic brain injury which she says ruined her career.
The woman was out of a job for a year due to the incident and returned to JP Morgan where she worked until getting fired in 2021.
Brown says the injuries lost her her job, impacted her ability to perform everyday tasks and even impact her love life.
After being fired from JP Morgan, Brown worked for a cryptocurrency company where she was also fired.
She now runs a gelato business.
Jurors awarded Brown $35,184,208 in damages after determining that building owner 271 Madison Co.’s negligence was "a substantial factor in causing" the injury.
NEW: American tourist killed after an enraged bull elephant attacks a safari truck in the Kafue National Park in Africa.
The elephant reportedly separated from the herd to chase the vehicle traveling about 25 mph.
The elephant caught up to the vehicle and charged, flipping the truck over.
According to Wilderness Chief Executive Officer Keith Vincent, 4 people had minor injuries, one person had serious injuries and an 80 year old American was killed.
Vincent said the driver of the truck slowed down because the path became blocked with vegetation.
JUST IN: 7.5 magnitude earthquake strikes Taiwan, rocking the whole island and even causing several buildings to collapse.
The earthquake triggered a tsunami warning of up to 10 feet from Japan.
"Tsunami is coming. Please evacuate immediately. Do not stop. Do not go back," said an NHK anchor.
The city of Hualien on the east coast of Taiwan appeared to sustain significant damage. The city was near the epicenter of the earthquake.

JUST IN: The United States has dropped its first airdrop of humanitarian aid into Gaza as millions are facing starvation.
According to NBC News, three military C-130 planes dropped a total of 66 pallets with 38,000 meals.
Aid organizations however, say the airdrop is nothing close to the amount of food and supplies needed for people of Gaza.
Ceasefire negotiations are currently underway as Biden faces fierce backlash.
