((Update: in the new year I hope to be here properly, maybe set up a starter call??
In the meantime replies will be slow and sparse while Xmas things get in the way. It may take some time for me to reply to everyone but I'll get there ^^;
And in advance--Happy Holidays, all!))
((Apologies for disappearing, things were happening and now my country has screwed itself over again in the UK election. I'll be back once I've cleared my head from all that.))
@RoyalIceMaster [c] "Delirium, hallucinations... it's a fever, mostly, just a bad one. So long as she's tended to at the palace, she'll be fine; and fully recovered in time to see you dragging me back there, I'm sure."
@RoyalIceMaster Hans sends Kristoff a backwards look. "'Watch my step'?"
Clearly, his mind skipped over the prospect of a well-intentioned warning. He'd seen the look on Kristoff's face a moment ago; Hans could hardly blame him if his cynicism proved correct.

Arendelle. Tranquil, beautiful--and not a sight Hans ever expected to see again.
Here he was, one Prince, one horse, and a small amount of luggage. His life, all wrapped up neatly and handed off to someone else to deal with. Literally.
He'd said goodbye [c]
[c] this way, it wasn't his father who'd get shown up by the rejection.
So once again--here he was. Observing Arendelle and its people from his vantage point (which was leaning as nonchalantly as he could over the ship's side), waiting for the inevitable, impersonal missive [c]
@RoyalIceMaster [c] unlike the company he was used to; it would be a regret he had no resolve to face.
All of his resolve was, after all, employed elsewhere.
Hand falling to his side with a visible wince, Hans steels his features and strides straight past Kristoff, towards the forest.
@RoyalIceMaster [c] and the impulse dissipates instantly. No, he was not considering this. They were not friends, but the tight feeling in his chest indicated to Hans that he, at least, had some measure of regard for the other man. He thought it was perhaps because Kristoff was so very much [c]
@RoyalIceMaster [c] come to no permanent harm. It's true that I provided no insight, but I think you'll agree that means all your deductions were assumptions." The implication is implicit--because Kristoff saw what he wanted to see in him. "I never said her illness was fatal."
@RoyalIceMaster [c] dwell on this too much as he gently dissuades him--and steps back towards the other man, attention now solely his.
"Here's something else we agreed upon--that you would not interfere, which your insistence on following me further is liable to become; and that Anna would [c]
@RoyalIceMaster [c] try to interfere. Hans wasn't even certain how to proceed himself; having to keep an eye on the ice man as well could prove to be more than a hindrance.
He's already moving back to Sitron to unhook a small satchel when he speaks again.
