Why is Flu always a danger to 1/3 of the US population who are immune compromised, including pregnant women or the very young and old? See the video showing positive test results over years. Flu never really goes away. Fever and sore throat in June? It could be Flu.
Wonder just how big this recent Influenza season was? Look at the spread each day. The red is Flu A and the blue is Flu B. The data are from 1.2 million patients whose test results were transmitted from many Sofia analyzers to Quidel’s Virena cloud.
I was under the impression that Strep throat occurred only in the winter. This is clearly not the case, and perhaps kids ages 3-15 with sore throats should be tested and treated year-round? They’re the ones at greatest risk of rheumatic fever!
