In 1972 I was given a BA(Math). I didn’t earn it for I was occupied by analyzing life. Math was useful when I found life is as simple as 1+1; and in carpentry.
It was my ambition to summarize all religious/philosophical writing. The summary is:
”Why am I?”, is the question of meaning that gave birth to humanity. There is no answer so it will be the last why. Tries to answer it are causing the death of humanity.
I put it in the banner of my website. I wrote some rhymed reason to elaborate. An excerpt:
By Nature’s God LIFE was inspired.
To self-create lives were required
With natural activities
To reach out to capacities,
To others, and to Nature’s God,
A life that we should all applaud.
Most lives had a creative past
Exclusively; ours didn’t last.
When given birth by “Why am I?”,
Our ‘parents’ feared not knowing why.
Unknowns they’d learned they should avoid
And so they tried to fill the void,
Unnatural activity
Diminishing what we could be.
By trying they broke Nature’s rule,
Who searched for “Why?” would be a fool.
Descendants tried to stem their fears
In diverse ways, throughout the years.
In doing so humanity
Defined the word “insanity”.
Results of tries remain unchanged
Despite how they are rearranged.
In vain attempts to fill the void
More of the past we have destroyed.
Destroying more life has to be
The Age of Asininity.
Destroying more life we could stop
Just by returning to the top.
It seems though we’ll repeat each verse
But every time we’ll make things worse
Until the worst concludes life’s rhyme
Because we’ve just run out of time.👇more

Just by returning to the top.

We're burning fuel for energy
To power an economy
We seem unable yet to learn
When we set fires, it's us we burn.

@peakaustria When trying to fill the void with money or any other way, more will never be enough.
Like all the other ways we try
More data will not be enough.
Now second on the endless list
There's money and the life it buys.

@BestStephenD Democracy is the problem we create.
Democracy was born out of
Our inability
To understand the common life
Of all humanity.
Democracy does not allow
A space for empathy.

@DavidUllrich202 Humanity was born with natural intelligence. Our 'parents' began making up artificial intelligence that began and continues to cause the destruction of humanity. With AI we are simply accelerating our self-destruction.

@ECOWARRIORSS ways to our demise.
For one, our population size
That's growing larger every day
Despite two facts. There is no way
Our Mother’s feeding can keep pace;
We can fit into shrinking space.
Though when we’ll die is surely moot
It could well be by overshoot.

@caitoz We'll become a conscious species if we flush all the ways we try to fill the void.
Our ‘Mother’ wondered "Why am I?",
And gave birth to humanity.
Our ‘Parents’ looked but couldn't find
The reason we were meant to be.
Instinctively they’d feared unknowns,

@BestStephenD@MarkJCarney My comment was metaphorical not literal. Humanity is running out of life one country at a time. Switching metaphors, if Carney keeps inflating Canada, it will explode like a balloon, possibly before Trump runs out of wind but only when he dies.
