One of the first times as well this season I’ve seen us change up tactics and formation with the 5 at the back and the balls over the top seemed to be working quite well. It was kinda weird seeing Spurs pretty much play against us with our usual tactics and structure. #avfc

I didn’t think we actually played that badly today. Martinez wasn’t tested majority of the game really & then the two goals came. McGinn one of the worst players to be sent off being so integral to how we play. The only player with bite if we are playing badly. #AVFC

Unfortunate losing 4-0 at home after Villa Park being such a fortress for most of this season. Some crucial games coming up now & Ajax midweek is a must win. The top 4 race is going to become very tight now so we’ll have to look to figure out our priorities for this season. #AVFC
