Bob Horner and Jerry Maddox were Arizona State products. Both All-Americans. Both third basemen.
Maddox was a rookie w/ the Braves when Horner made his straight-from-college MLB debut. His life changed. Horner’s did too.

"The Family asks for continued understanding and privacy during this difficult time."
There was always comfort when Rob was with you on assignment. No matter what it was — NBA playoffs, feature stories, football practice — he treated them all the same and captured the best moments. A true pro and master of his craft.
He will be missed.
