Huge congratulations to the Niverville Nighthawks. The Centennial Cup is such a difficult title to earn and rarely captured by an MJHL team. For Niverville to do it in the team’s four-year history makes it even more remarkable.
@JeffMarek They could have used the opportunity to heap praise on the whole team, but instead this was their choice? Is this a peewee team or a major junior team?
@reporterchris Hard to believe Leafs brass put their heads together and decided John Chayka was the man for the job. There’s a name I never thought I would see associated with any NHL team again.
Seeing Nick Suzuki on the Olympic team and remembering the pick used to select Suzuki originally belonged to Winnipeg.
It was dealt to Vegas so the expansion franchise would select Chris Thorburn, allowing the Jets to keep Marko Dano and a well-beyond his prime Toby Enstrom.
Really disappointing that @680CJOB no longer has a local morning show. I’ve tried listening but that national show couldn’t be less interesting. Can’t imagine anyone would spend advertising dollars to air during that time slot.
You just knew after the Leafs blew a chance to go 3-0 in the series by giving up a pair of two-goal leads and losing in OT, the Panthers were winning this series.
@SportsTalkWPG@hustlerama@UtilityVoice He scores an incredible game winner then skates away like he just served a bench minor for too many men. Amazing skill.
