@krispykriskring The 429-460 had canted valves similar to the big block Chevy.
Also the largest bore of any big block from that era.
429 bore 4.360 stroke 3.590.
Very over square.
429 SCJ had 2.24 intake valves.
This engine just came about too late before everything came crashing down.

@krispykriskring I’m a big fan of your posts. Ford did offer a 351 HO in 1972 in the mustang. Same engine specs as the Boss except for lower compression. Open chamber heads.
Also looking forward to a future post on the 429 Cobra Jet and the 429 Super Cobra.
