3/4 This is the culmination of a year of hard work lead by @angedotjarvis and @TomThivener Planning team that applied for the Provincial Electric Kick Start Scooter Pilot in Spring 2022, got the RFP out and awarded it all within less than a year !!!

Induced demand works both ways, and Utrecht’s Vredenburg is a prime example of how creating more space for cycling creates more cyclists.

The Proposed Cycling & Pedestrian Network identifies over 30km of Multi-Use Paths, Cycle Tracks (one-way protected bike lanes), and Neighbourhood Bike Route. This comprehensive network of safe comfortable facilities will help support Active Transportation by providing choice.

The Proposed Road Network Concept identifies road classifications, new road connections that will improve connectivity, accessibility, and mobility, and future signals and/or intersection control. This supports the land use in the area as it transforms into a regional town centre

The #SurreyTransportationPlan "Big Vision, Bold Moves" engagement was presented to Council on Monday. We heard from over 5,000 people, with 4,000 from an opt-in and 1,000 from a random sample survey and the results are in.
