Potential Mets deadline trade

Orioles Receive:
- Luis Robert
- 2027 first-round pick
- 2028 first round pick

Mets Receive:
- Pete Alonso

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

Anyone else think this is AI?

[Mike @mike5_5_5]

One last time

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

Why would we post the audio of a home run from a guy who literally did not want to re-sign with the Mets?

[Sam @TreIindor20]

Thank you Howie. The greatest to ever do it

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@lcs4870 @mets_coon @kranepool Spot on. Same people who celebrated the trades/signings are now criticizing Stearns bc the team is failing. They would’ve made the same moves and it’s obvious based on their preseason enthusiasm. Not saying zero blame falls on management but it’s naive to blame Stearns entirely.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@kierang3573 It’s “currently a joke” because Benge, Ewing and McLean were called up. Flagged for misleading information.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@Dart2Nabers46 So thankful Stearns got Soto

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

Thank you Stearns.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@Szapucki60_75 You were right. I just didn’t wanna believe it. My apologies.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@Szapucki60_75 You’re a phony

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@Ihatemet1234 I don’t love the trade but I like that we get a pick, that 2029 draft class is supposed to be strong.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@GtrxMan_NYR I speak for myself and many other Met fans

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

Since this community is flooded with young ignoramuses, I will speak the truth. The majority of Met fans, ESPECIALLY older fans, love David Stearns. He is not the monster people claim he is.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@pancho_NYM You’re a troll. George Costanza

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@pancho_NYM Closeted Yankee fan. Knew it.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@mattdelsol Coward

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@metropolitans10 I’m down if they throw a draft pick in there too.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@TormentedNYJFan Me too, that’s how intelligent David Stearns is

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@camnnate He doesn’t have a no trade clause. This doesn’t involve his opinion. Trade the picks

@kovamitch_12 No. I will never stop speaking the truth. Thank you @elonmusk for allowing the truth to be spoken on this app uncensored.

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

@Dart2Nabers46 We don’t agree

[Douglas @DougNYC95]

Lindor. Stearns.
