@CoachsCornerDC saw this inspiring photo of you

@UPS For reference, UPS was completely useless here and told me to file another investigation. That's after I already spent weeks and many phone calls going through the first one.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@UPS You’ve lost the same package TWICE now. I’ve spent hours on the phone and nobody has helped. Please fix this.

@jpurses Great meeting you on Market St yesterday! Signed up for your newsletter. Any good readings? Already read Non-Violent Communication.

@brucel @scottjenson @chrisdavidmills Hi Bruce, I'm one of the engineers working on this. Would love to chat. Please DM me.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@EdwinFloresII Sounds like it went better than last time.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@DanielleThe @MozToronto I'm willing. Anymore info?

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@rik24d HP at least actually has pretty proud roots. Not sure about the other examples he gave.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@uberj_ Clock on the little red x at the top left/right.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@nicodeldev @rik24d Glad to hear it. Thanks for the report!

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@dougturner Cool, make sure you stop by and say hi!

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@dougturner Hey Doug, are you at the MoTo office?

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich Well, thanks for discussing with me at least.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich It's nice to see these arguments backed by data though. I'd suggest writing a blog post on this.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich Ok ic. Don't have data but maybe some turnover due to more than crashes. If Shumway doesn't work well, doesn't solve problem.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich Cool! I didn't know it's that far along yet. Happy to hear that. What's the problem then? You said not enough resources in it.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich and that can be said about anything, but we have to choose our battles. I agree on point B though.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich Sure, but for the goal to reduce user turnover, it seems like a poor way to do it at least in the short-medium term.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich Reader isn't the only option though. On OS X I'm fine with just Preview. There are other options on Windows and Linux too.

[Doug Sherk @dougsherk]

@BrendanEich Yeah, I understand. Though PDF.js has many problems and I wonder if Shumway will be the same. At least it'll help with point B.
