I have just driven over 90 km in 5 different trips on FSD 14.3.3 DU, completely intervention free. From inside my garage to a nearby coffee shop, parking there. From there to church 40 km away, down the Great Eastern Highway Bypass, handling lane changes, traffic lights and traffic perfectly, before one-shot parking in a nearby school parking lot.
Then a test-drive with a friend, headed over to a busy Bunnings, parked there. Then back to the church, parking on the street, then 40 km’s back to a nearby bakery, with a VERY busy parking lot, pedestrians, reversing cars, backed up traffic, the works. Parked there, then drove home. All without a single intervention.
It’s actually unbelievable how good it is now. Sure there are some opportunities for improvement; it indicates way too early, sometimes misreads speed signs, and doesn’t choose my driveway and garage every time. But the actual driving is absolute Chef’s Kiss - let me put it this way, I’ve never had an Uber driver drive this well. And at all times I felt safe. I found myself laughing out loud, shaking my head in wonder, and being driven with a big silly grin on my face.
@Tesla_AI and @TeslaAUNZ , you have done an incredible job here, bravo!
@HaroldMcHarry Yeah, I’m having those too. I drive using Hurry and that seems to keep me less in the left lane. Today I tried Chill and it was definitely more left lane biased. Apart from the usual Nav issues, I’ve also had it literally turn the opposite direction to what the Nav said. 🤪

@MuzzacCox I hear you. I’ve had a much worse day today, although mostly Nav and/or parking issues. I’ve had it not follow the Nav (Nav said turn right, it turned left!), I’ve had the indicator on for no reason, and the off again. It definitely feels “hyper” and a little unhinged.
“100° temperatures are now a reality in all 50 U.S. states.”
They have been a reality for well over a century. Alaska’s record of 100°F was set in June 1915.
But you forgot to mention that.
I wonder why?
Possibly, as Minister for Health, James Murray could compel the adult gender clinics to hand over the data they refused to give to Cass. We might then find out just how much benefit these interventions confer long term, without needing to perform experiments on children too young to give meaningful consent.
Read the testimony of the ever-expanding numbers of detransitioners. Grasp that these young people, many of them extremely vulnerable - autistic, care-experienced, abuse survivors, same-sex attracted in unsupportive families - have been irreparably harmed, left with their fertility destroyed, unending medical complications and profound psychological damage.
This is a medical scandal of epic proportions and people of power and influence are still too frightened of trans activists and trans lobby groups to do the right thing and put an end to the insanity. Kids are being sacrificed to ideology and cowardice.
@schtinkster Yes, I did exactly that too. I used EAP almost all of the time. Used to have my foot on the accelerator to “push it through” phantom braking, which I learned to anticipate almost perfectly. It’s a different world now, wow.
@LeonBennetts@alanhoward Yes, I can imagine this. For me it’s like slightly wild stallion after having a placid pony. I’m loving it, but it’s definitely more frisky.
Yes, I think this is an element of it. Today I had the time to sit back and see what it would do. I drive on Hurry Mode, though, and I would say it got me to my destination (40 minutes away) 2 or 3 minutes quicker than FSD 13. I drive the route every week.
It made no navigation errors (so it didn’t go the wrong way), but as you’ve no doubt noticed, it indicates way too early, and then sometimes it looks like it’s going to follow its own indicator and turn off too early, but at the last possible second, it doesn’t. It kinda veers left, and then comes back and continues as it should. Many people would probably intervene, I left it to see what would happen. Once they fix the early indicator, I expect this issue will be fixed.
Very interesting. I certainly had it make some poor lane choices today, and then undo them assertively at the last moment, and yesterday I had it do 90 in a 60, although it was quickly constrained by traffic, and then settled into the correct speed zone. So I can see glimpses of what you’re saying.
😂 Yes, I assumed you were a wife, and my comment was made “with respect” 😂. You’re evidently a bit less fearful than many wives. The wife test is a real thing; I think that men are generally more comfortable with active supervision of a slightly wilder driving experience.
My daughter-in-law (who is a wife) also drives my car. She hasn’t experienced 14 yet, and my son and I were speculating that she will choose Chill in urban areas and Standard on the open road. We’ll see …
I also expect 14 DU to get a few point releases to take off the rough edges, soonish.

@alanhoward I can’t believe you think this. Do you actually think this? V14 for me is a HUGE improvement. Not as smooth, yes, but easily 10x more capable.
@schtinkster Wow, I can’t relate. Although V14 is definitely not as smooth, much more assertive; I do think it’s less likely to pass the “wife test” than V13 DU, which is buttery smooth. Maybe all the wives are on Facebook 😉?
