@KevinLevin interesting take on Black Confederate combat soldiers by the Blue and Gray Education Society based on your research on Levi Miller. After reading your book, I was under the impression there were no Blacks in combat for the Confederates.
@fesposito22 @MartinoComms @plasticsnews Best wishes Bob. Nice reflections. When I first started in the media, stories were still published with hot lead!
Bacardi’s plans to convert to Nodax PHA bottles in two years is coming under fire from some sustainability experts as “greenwashing”. At issue is the claim that the bottles would degrade in water within 18 months. The company’s 200 brands include Bombay S…https://t.co/TfPQNl7GvJ
@donloepp@PlastekGroup@plasticsnews Congrats Plastek and what a great trophy name. Bill Bregar was a classic — the Columbo of plastics reporters. He was a bit scruffy and disorganized and asked the simple question others were afraid to ask. He built trust and always wrote insightful, leading stories and analysis.

A flotilla of hundreds of cormorants rolled in an hour after dawn today. They reached a place in N. Weymouth where they zugunruhe every year and began practicing formation flying, moving in echelon from the rear. This builds up to an all out frenzy. @MassAudubon
I took the attached photo this morning in North Wemouth. It shows cormorants starting to gather and train for their annual migration south. Their numbers will grow into the hundreds in the next few days and the level of frenzy will grow to a full blown crazy. @TimNBCBoston
The Native village @plimoth is interesting yet had just one Indigeneous among the interpreters when I visited. I don’t like the pretense that the English were friendly with the local tribes. Most were hostile. The locals depicted were military allies.
@tomshattuck@GovRaimondo @plimoth If @plimoth wants to be historically correct, it should include the spiked head of the Massachusetts chief ambushed and decapitated by Myles Standish and other Plimoth residents. The head was proudly displayed on the Plimoth stockade after 4 Indigenous peope were brutally killed
