Mikie Sherrill has asked to raise NJ Sales Tax to 7%+ prior to the start of her term. This undercuts the Republican bill in Assembly to lower Sales Tax to 6%

[Dawn Fantasia @DawnFantasia_NJ]

File this under “things everyone already knew”: the current governor’s dream was to return the sales tax to 7%. Gov. Murphy has tried to shove that little gem into his proposed budgets. When you’re drunk on spending and the federal COVID relief dollars dry up, they always run back to “old reliable.”

Now, the same progressive groups that never missed a chance to promote bringing NJ’s sales tax back to 7% (policy outfits on the left that have publicly endorsed this hike for years) are now parked inside Gov-elect Sherrill’s transition.

No surprise that the 7% chatter is back during lame duck. This conversation should be had in the open, not behind closed doors.

They pushed the fairy tale that Jack Ciattarelli wanted a 10% sales tax. Total lie. In fact, Republicans introduced a bill to CUT the sales tax to 6%: part of a larger plan to lower taxes across the board.

The state’s finances are a mess, and that’s what happens when you spend first and think never. It always catches up.

The bear hunt in NJ is completely unnecessary. 360 bears killed, and 6 people hospitalized in car accidents in the last 4 days from multiple bears running on rt. 80 away from hunters.

@brainyquiz_ Can you give an example, how this would be a real world problem?

[SPAC Daddy Doug @DougSpac]

@FrankPallone $65k-$120k a year salary is not a fat paycheck. Considering they a $150 billion of reckless spending of our money is well worth it.

Why do you support fraud, waste and abuse is the question?

[SPAC Daddy Doug @DougSpac]

@FrankPallone NJ was on track to have some lowest energy prices in the country. The Murphy Admin. cancelled the 36" PennEast natural gas pipeline from crossing under the Delaware River. YOU are responsible for handing over billions of NJ taxpayers money to oil companies and foreign nations.

[SPAC Daddy Doug @DougSpac]

@FrankPallone How much does it cost to have someone clean the bathrooms? $15 an hour, meanwhile you charge $20 per car to enter Sandy Hook. It sounds like mismanagement to me.
