I feel there is a spiderman "with great power" aspect to this. He can still have a great podcast with great guests, but he needs to have some self control to know that "hey, Im getting into a discussion here that is above me and it is totally ok to not wade into those waters"

Rogan is at heart a conspiracy theorist. He use to believe the moon landing was fake (or at minimum said he had serious doubts) despite all the evidence needed to draw the proper conclusion always existing and being known.

He doesnt think on reason but on emotion.

I do like the guy, but when he does stuff like this, even though he every so often mentions that no one should take his advice or take what he says seriously, people do, and it means some percentage are going to make bad decisions that could have personal or collective impacts
