Every career is unique, of course, but a worrying aspect of the Ingebrigtsen story is that his older brothers Henrik and Filip both peaked from 23-25, before repeated injuries left them unable to match that for the rest of their careers. Jakob is now 25.
BREAKING: The Minnesota Timberwolves just held a moment of silence for Renee Good, who was fatally shot by Jonathan Ross yesterday.
Much respect to the team.

10 days ago, Utah alum and Nike pro Emily Venters explained via Instagram that her appeal to be upgraded to NCAA gold in the 10k (and silver in the 5k) from the 2023 outdoor national meet was denied. The University of Utah's appeal was also denied.
Venters claims that Matt Mikrut, the Managing Director of the NCAA's Committee on Infractions (COI), explained to the Venters family over the phone that Kemboi had tested positive for a banned substance.
Mikrut, multiple members of the COI and the Utah Valley coaching staff did not respond when reached for comment.
Very sad personal news to share. Longtime track and field historian, general all-around sports expert, and tremendous longtime friend Mike Kennedy has passed away at age 82 from natural causes. Those who knew him always enjoyed his friendly spirit and gentle heart and soul. He’ll be watching his favorite track and field meets from the best seat above the stadium along with other icons we have lost much too soon over the years. Rest in peace, Mike. Neither of us drink, but I will raise a toast in your honor. God Bless, buddy. 💔🕊️🥺

Saw these photos from #NXRNorthwest, and was curious about this young man racing XC on a prosthetic leg. His name: Ramon Little of Arlington HS in WA. He finished 15th out of 261 runners in the Rising Stars #2 race, running 18:03.9! 💪
