Why do you ask that without asking why the federal government has been allowed to steal the money for so many decades. It is an unconstitutional system that has been used as D.C.'s personal piggy bank until they lost all shame and pursued QE Infinity. It's still being robbed and We The People are somehow powerless to end the train of abuses?

@AuronMacintyre Define the term "conservative" as it is generally accepted and cite your source. The term has no meaning just like "right wing" and "left wing" have lost their meanings. How can we fight an enemy we cannot define?

It depends. The models drift very frequently even if the context windows are not exhausted. Without a human in the loop, they still generate some strange things because they are still probabilistic. That is why a good harness is required. Otherwise, your plow horse is going to plow the wrong field.

You'll find that most people are ignorant because MSM keeps them that way. People also like to stay ignorant because it's their excuse to not act. Its a combination of fear and selfishness. The problem with the Boomers you're referring to is that they have no interest in getting involved even after they know about the problems. The answer I get is basically "I'm glad I won't be alive to see it." No one is going to act unless they are forced to act. It's just human nature. That same nature is why people have this "I got mine. Sux to be you." attitude. You can either try to change human nature, or you force people to act. One is hard. The other is impossible. There are no easy answers now because we are too far down the road.

Tom, I NEVER write code these days. I stopped 3 years ago to pursue other opportunities. The upside to AI is undeniable. Taking time to learn prompt and context engineering is a valuable investment. The current state of AI as bad as it gets. Focus on domain knowledge and let AI do the grunt work for you. You can go so much faster and it frees you up for more strategic activities and pressing the flesh to grow a business and make connections.

I hate to break it to you guys, but the universities and businesses are going to keep doing whatever the government allows them to do. What do you think protesting for students is going to accomplish? The students either naively think they need the degrees or are using college to delay entering a dismal job market destroyed by corrupt politicians. All of this can be fixed legally and peacefully (I hope).

Even after I was allowed back in, I had to wear a mask at all times "for my protection" which inhibited and even prevented communication at times. I was finally allowed in without a mask with the senile in chief gave the all-clear. By then, my career was permanently injured at that company because I could not be effective at my job without being able to communicate.
