help! i (an american) am looking at some international (canadian) graduate programs, and i’m not sure what funding options are possible. does anyone know where i should start?
Recently I wrote a paper with many co-authors. The coordinator author always admonished us: "No unfunded mandates!" = no writing negative comments about part of the paper without actually writing edits to fix the problem. This will be my new mantra in group writing. 👍
Just had an absolutely invigorating convo about undergraduate student mentorship with @DoughertyCole, a friend and fellow former-undergrad RA at @UofMaryland, who is now an awesome lab manager!! Thanks for mentoring me in mentoring ❤
suffice to say, @simultagnosia and her grad student (J. Daly) have been endlessly helpful and supportive as i prepare my first poster for submission and i appreciate them endlessly. be sure to check out my virtual booth at #cogsci2020!
collaboration is super important! if you don’t know how to do a statistical test for a certain submission you have coming up, ask for help! You’re probably closer than you think
Papers I Think Are Cool™️ round 2 will be happening this Wednesday at 7pm CDT on my twitch channel! We’ll be discussing a 2007 paper from @andrewshtulman and Carey on how children reason about improbable events and it’s sure to be a good time :0)

in two hours (7pm central), i’ll be going live on twitch in a new series called “Papers I Think are Cool” for the undergrads in my lab. Tonight we’ll be discussing Somerville et al. (2005), and the QALMRI method for reading papers. Feel free to drop in at https://t.co/HklpaIlQYd!
