So had the police properly investigated the initial plot against Nigel Farage, which we now know they didn’t, it’s quite possible that Ann Widdecombe would still be alive.
This isn’t misconduct, this is criminal negligence.
@ShippersUnbound@moanaparte@JoeMarkham5 Sort but Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzie was definitely Irish
Yes a black man born in England but definitely not English
Great singer songwriter and self missed and 100% Irish
@ShippersUnbound@JoeMarkham5 English is a NOT a nation its a country
Britain is the nation old boy
Come on Tim try harder
Rishi Sunak is English albeit of Indian ethnicity
Boris is Turkish American and doesn’t have as an Englishman but Rishi does
@ShippersUnbound@moanaparte@JoeMarkham5 Thin Lizzie front man Phil Lynott who was definitely Irish and also a black man born in England!
Sorry but it is complicated
To me Rishi is Indian English similar to the Irish English footballer Harry Kane
Boris is a Turkish American and Winston Churchill American English
@SBarrettBar@metpoliceuk Eventually the shirt will be found but police have a difficult task ahead but meanwhile Ben will just have to appear without it unless anyone can lend one
Eleven years ago I warned that terrorists were using illegal routes into Europe to attack us. The establishment ignored me.
Nine years ago I specifically highlighted the Iranian threat via illegal migration. Crickets.
Six years ago I specifically warned about the invasion in the Channel, often taking to sea myself to document the horrors. Again, I was dismissed.
In 2023, I reported on terrorists coming into Britain on small boats, just like these men did under the Tory government.
In 2025, in the House of Commons, I discussed Iranian terrorists at Dover. And in April and May of this year I cited sources that told me Iranian terrorists were already in our midst. They said shame on me. No. Shame on them.
We now have a state of national emergency on our borders, and this government is trying to open them to even more unknown individuals.
We are inviting terror and horror into our communities. It must end now. And if this Home Secretary disagrees, she must resign.
@kelvmackenzie@nadhimzahawi This is huge
We have to wait for trial and investigations but wow just wow this if true is shocking
Poor Ann Widdecombe killed by someone who could have been stoped if police had chosen to act otherwise
Absurdly Counter Terrorism chief Vicky Evans claimed the decision to further charge Joshua Kerry ( he was accused of murdering Ann Widdecombe) with planning terrorism acts against Nigel Farage was due to a “ hugely intensive and complex investigation”. No it wasn’t.
Police had the photo of somebody pushing a lit incendiary device through the letterbox of Farage’s London home early last year.
But they failed to push the photo out , closed the case and it was only when the alleged killer of Ms Widdecombe was identified after her murder in July this year - 16 months later- that they put two and two together.
If counter terror and the Met had taken the attack on the Reform leader seriously would Ann Widdecombe be alive today?
A serious question. Not helped by claiming the charge was due to a “ complex and intensive” investigation.
The situation in France is going to end in a civil war between French vs Muslims and Africans.
This experiment isn’t going to last longer, there isn’t any coexistence possible between civilization and barbarians.
@ShabanaMahmood@PatrickChristys Why when Farage is his own enemy
You lot demonised him inadvertently putting his life at risk
Arguably you lot are partly responsible for the tragic heinous murder of poor Ann Widdecombe
Tell it to Angela next time calls Tories scum or your council wanting to slit their throats
An update on something that’s been happening over the past 12 months.
Somebody or some people threatened to kill my children. The offence would certainly carry a custodial sentence because it cited a weapon, vulnerable groups (children) and was done anonymously on social media. My family required 24/7 security and the kids even had someone walking to school with them. Thank you to GB News for all their support with that, we’re very grateful for all their help and concern.
Police located the account to an address in Tower Hamlets but after saying they were about to make arrests, they now say they won’t pursue it because it’s potentially one of three individuals and they can’t pinpoint which one it was. How about you go round and ask them - and you know, investigate?
Police are happy enough to make 12,000 arrests each year for social media posts but when it comes to threatening to kill children of someone who speaks up for the country, it’s apparently not a big issue despite the gravity of the offence.
The problem that arises from this is people start beginning to lose trust in the institutions that are meant to protect them. The institutions we pay for. And when that trust erodes, it’s not good for society.
Ann Widdecombe was slaughtered only months ago and I’m told on my own show by certain guests that words don’t kill people. Well, they do. And they have a huge impact on people’s lives.
Thank you again to GB News for all their support. They have been top class. Shame I can’t say the same about the police.
